As a new entry for Giro’s mountain footwear lineup, the Ranger Cycling Shoe satisfies the void between entry-level and mid-range. Using trickle-down tech from the new Rincon, the Ranger receives a durable one-piece Synchwire upper and a strong nylon and rubber outsole. Perhaps the only disadvantage found in the Ranger may be the triple hook-and-loop strap closures instead of the BOA dial found on the Rincon.
